‘Screw for Denmark’ sex campaigns produce baby boom in months
A racy ad campaign, started only nine months ago, has really hit the spot for Denmark's campaign for more baby-making. The country now expects booming birth rates this summer.
It may be a bit on the risque side, but at this point, when it comes to correcting the below-replacement-level birthrate of Europe, I don't think we can afford to be too prudish when it comes to encouraging native Europeans to reproduce. Obviously, I would like to think and hope – and encourage! – that most of these children are born within the bonds of holy matrimony. But if Europe doesn't get its birthrate up, many other things will become irrelevant. So if it works, I'm all for it! We can work on other aspects when the population is a bit more stable.
